Five ways to engage me
Every ERP programme is different, and you won't always need the same support from end to end. These are the ways I work with clients — from leading a whole programme to a focused, independent second opinion. Not sure which fits? The discovery call is the place to work that out.
Fractional ERP Programme Leadership
For organisations running an ERP implementation who want experienced, senior leadership without a full-time hire.
This is the core of what I do: complete client-side ownership of your ERP programme. I lead the plan, the governance, the implementation partner, the risk and the board reporting — from selection or mobilisation right through to go-live and benefits realisation. I work as an extension of your leadership team, sized to what each stage of the programme actually needs.
I specialise in Sage Intacct implementations, with particular depth in multi-entity, multi-currency and multi-country programmes. I have delivered Sage Intacct across groups of up to eight entities simultaneously, including GL-level historical migration and full group consolidation architecture. I have also led programmes on SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage 200, Business Central and Access Dimensions.
The outcome: one accountable, independent leader keeping your programme on course — so your own people can stay focused on running the business.
ERP Selection & Vendor Advisory
For organisations choosing a new ERP system, or about to.
Choosing the wrong system — or the wrong implementation partner — is the most expensive mistake an ERP programme can make, and it's made before the project even starts. I run a vendor-neutral selection: defining your requirements, building a realistic shortlist, structuring demonstrations that test what matters, and supporting contract negotiation so the terms protect you.
For multi-entity groups and acquisitive businesses considering Sage Intacct, I can give you an honest, experienced assessment of whether it's the right fit for your structure before you commit.
The outcome: the right system and partner for your business, chosen on evidence — not on the best sales pitch.
ERP Project Assurance & Health Check
For sponsors and boards who want an honest, independent read on a programme already underway.
It's hard to know whether a programme is genuinely on track when the people reporting on it are the people delivering it. I provide an independent review — examining plan, scope, governance, risk, partner performance and business readiness — and give you a clear, candid assessment with practical recommendations.
The outcome: a true picture of where your programme stands, and what to do about it, before small problems become expensive ones.
ERP Project Recovery
For programmes that have lost time, control or confidence.
Troubled ERP programmes rarely fix themselves. I step in to stabilise things: establishing what's really happening, rebuilding the plan and governance, resetting the relationship with the implementation partner, and getting the programme back under control with a credible route to completion.
This is work I take on deliberately. At Salute Mission Critical, I was brought in to recover a stalled EMEA Sage Intacct implementation — delivering the full platform while keeping existing transaction flows running in parallel, before leading the post-acquisition integration of three group companies across the UK and Ireland. Recovery requires a different set of skills to a clean-start programme, and it is a capability I have built across two decades of complex delivery.
The outcome: a programme brought back from difficulty to a deliverable, trusted plan.
Executive Sponsor Advisory
For executive sponsors who have a project team in place but want a senior, independent sounding board.
Sponsoring an ERP programme is a demanding role — often taken on alongside a full-time job, and without prior experience of one. I work alongside you: interpreting what the programme is really telling you, preparing you for the decisions ahead, and giving you somewhere to test your thinking.
The outcome: a sponsor who leads the programme with confidence and clarity.
How engagements work
Every engagement is fractional — scoped to your programme and its current stage, rather than a fixed full-time commitment. Some clients need a few days a month; others need intensive involvement through a critical phase and far less either side. We agree the shape of it together, and it flexes as the programme does.
